The text is minimal, but the content is impressive: there are entries (with musical samples) for a total of 1,515 works known to have come from Schubert's pen or attributed to him. Schubert helped out by dating virtually all of his manuscripts, and the listings are in chronological order. The musical themes are printed with information on when they were written, where the original manuscript is today, and, where applicable, how a work differs from earlier versions. It's an impressive piece of work.
